Blue Jays Top Lebanon

Down 4-0 after two innings, the Greenville Blue Jays baseball team rallied Monday to beat Lebanon 8-5 in five innings.

The Jays scored once in the third, then put seven runs on the scoreboard in the fourth inning.

The winning team had five hits.  They included a double by Ethan Shadowens, and singles by Rhys (reese) Hentz, Cullen Hamel, Mikey Sanchez and Grant Hollenkamp.

RBIs went to Hollenkamp and Shadowens.

Greenville sent four pitchers to the mound.  Javontae Petty, Aadin Smith, Keegan Coling and Hentz combined to pitch a one-hitter.

It was the fourth straight win for the Jays.  They are at Mulberry Grove Wednesday and host Hillsboro Thursday.
