Quail Forever will have a holiday conference Thursday, December 29, from 1 to 3:30 PM at Langham Outdoors in Donnellson. Blake Baum, a master’s student in Wildflie Bioloty and Conservation at SIUE, will be the featured speaker. Chili and grilled cheese will be served at 3:30 PM.

There will be a New Year’s Day dance Sunday, January 1, at the Okawville Community Club. The dance will be from 1 to 4:30 PM with food and drinks available for purchase between 11 AM and 2 PM. Admission is $10 per person. Music will be provided by the Rendition band.
