Illinois Representative Proposes Bobcat Hunting Season

Bobcats are making a comeback in Southern Illinois and that could mean good news for hunters.  State Representative Wayne Rosenthal has introduced a bill that would allow hunters to go after the cats between November 1st and February 15th each year.   Reports indicate there are more than 3,300 bobcats living in southern Illinois.  Rosenthal says hunting them will help keep the cat population under control.
