You may have noticed some work being done on the roof at the Greenville Regional Hospital Thrift Shop recently. Auxiliary President Boyd Vieregge told us crews are busy replacing the entire roof on the building.
Vieregge said the roof has been in need of attention for several years as it has developed many leaks over time. Vieregge said the project should take about ten days, depending on the elements, and that the new roof should last a long time.
The shop was closed Tuesday due to the weather, but otherwise, Vieregge said the store should remain open throughout the roof replacement work.
