Severe Storm Spotter Class To Be Held In Greenville

The National Weather Service is partnering with Bond County to offer a Severe Storm Spotter and Public Safety Training Class in Greenville. The class will be held Thursday, January 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 102 of the Dietzman Center at Greenville College.

911 Coordinator Alan Davis told us the class is held every two years by National Weather Service Meteorologist Jim Kramper. The class is open to the public and free of charge. After completing the class, attendees will be given information on how to register as a volunteer storm spotter.
