Dangerously cold temperatures are back once again across Illinois as the brutal winter continues. Temperatures plummeted late Sunday night, dropping nearly 40 degrees in the span of eight hours in some places. State officials are urging people to stay inside if possible, to avoid being exposed to the dangerously old weather. Anyone who has to go out should dress in layers for extra warmth.
