The Bond County Soil & Water Conservation District Annual meeting and election will be held today at noon at the Bradford Room in Greenville. Coordinator Emily Hartmann told us what to expect at the meeting.
“We will share information regarding activities we’ve been involved with as far as education outreach through our Ag in the Classroom program as well as conservation practices and programs that we have available through the county and our equipment rental and soil sampling service program,” Hartmann said. “We’re open to the public and everyone is welcome to stop in and learn a little bit more about what we have to offer.”
A meal will be served at noon with the meeting scheduled to begin at 12:20 p.m. The 69th annual meeting will also include the presentation of the Dr. Harold Gehrig Memorial Scholarship.
