After studying music business and student directing AgapeFest, Greenville College alumnus Seth England is now managing the wildly popular country music duo Florida Georgia Line. GC President Dr. Ivan Filby said England’s story exemplifies the college’s aim to be salt and light in all fields of study, not just traditional ministry.
“He’s currently managing Florida Georgia Line,” Filby told WGEL. “He signed them with the company that he works for in Nashville and he’s been in charge of them as they’ve had the biggest selling digital download in country music history, so we’re enormously proud of him. But that’s the type of story we get again and again and again.”
Filby said he also recently heard of a Greenville College graduate working in the management side of Twitter. He said the college is enormously proud of the alumni’s achievements.
