Habitat For Humanity House Progress Delayed By Weather

This year’s severe wintry weather has delayed progress on the newest Habitat for Humanity house in Sorento. Eric Watterson, with the Bond County chapter of Habitat for Humanity, told us the team is waiting on work to be finished by skilled tradesman in plumbing and electrical work now.

Once the skilled labor is completed, the chapter and its volunteers will be back to work on the interior. If you’re interested in volunteering, call Eric at 322-0080.
