The week of George Washington’s birthday was designated National FFA Week in 1947 at a National FFA Board of Directors meeting. To celebrate, local chapters have planned special activities and themed dress up days.
Greenville students started the week Sunday by observing the tradition of attending church with the chapter president, attending the First Christian Church in Greenville with Greenville Chapter President, WGEL’s own Grant Suess.
Today, Greenville’s FFA chapter will hold a faculty appreciation luncheon and celebrate with Official Dress Day.
For the Mulberry Grove FFA chapter, today is Camouflage Day.
