New Baden Police Department Asks For Help Identifying Suspects

The New Baden Police Department needs assistance in identifying two suspects of a convenience store theft by deception. Police Chief Mike Riley told WGEL suspects allegedly scammed the counter clerk out of cash at Kokomo Joe’s in New Baden and attempted the same scam at another convenience store.

The first suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a black stocking cap and the second was described as a white male in his mid-20s with short, dark hair, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, a light gray T-shirt, jeans, white tennis shoes and a necklace.

A Crime Stoppers Reward is available for help identifying the suspects and all tips may remain anonymous. Call the New Baden Police Department with any information at 588-7741.
