Tornado Confirmed In Fayette County

The National Weather Service has confirmed another tornado from last Thursday’s severe weather. This twister developed 2.8 miles northwest of Brownstown.

The damage path was approximately 40 yards wide and the intensity was rated EF0. Though an EF0 is considered a weak tornado, it still consisted of winds between 65 and 85 miles per hour. The tornado headed about five miles northeast, damaging trees and buildings.
