ISP Ready To Issue First Concealed Carry Licenses

It won’t be long before people who applied for concealed carry licenses will get them. The Illinois State Police say 5,000 applications have been approved and the licenses are ready to be printed and mailed.

Since the application process started, the State Police have received more than 50,000 applications. Only 800 have been objected to and so far, no objection has been appealed. The State Police say that they will continue to issue the licenses as they are approved. They plan to print and mail licenses on a daily basis.
