Michigan Man Pleads Guilty To Highland Bank Robbery

22 year old Ramsey Z. Fakhouri, of Troy, Michigan, pled guilty Thursday to a federal indictment charging him with bank robbery.

According to court documents, Fakhouri and a second suspect traveled from Michigan to Highland where the other man, armed with an air gun, allegedly robbed a Bradford National Bank employee of cash she was putting in the ATM.  The total amount stolen was $25,780.

Fakhouri was arrested when he returned to the Highland Police Department, claiming images he had seen in the media were not of him.  Upon investigation by the police, he admitted that he was the driver of the getaway car.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 11.
