Mulberry Grove SADD Group To Hold Special Event

Mulberry Grove High School’s student-led organization, Students Against Destructive Decisions, is gearing up for a special event to illustrate the consequences of impaired driving.

Secretary Caleigh Steiner told WGEL, “On Friday, April 4, Mulberry SADD is holding a mock wreck and mock funeral to show the kids what would happen if you were to be distracted while driving, just to make it more real for them. And we’re also going to have a slide show to show the psychological effects of losing a close friend or loved one.”

President Alexia White told us SADD is dedicated to providing students with prevention tools to deal with the issues of underage drinking and drug use, risky and impaired driving and other destructive decisions.
