Bond County Historical Society To Hold Annual Quilt Show In May

The Bond County Historical Society will hold their 12th Annual Quilt Show on Saturday, May 3 at the Greenville Free Methodist Church. Jan Eyman with the Quilter’s Club told us they will accept submissions until April 20.

“It’s a chance for people to show their quilts. We have a viewer’s choice in each area, and the areas include hand-quilted, machine-quilted, antique, wall, or baby quilt,” Eyman told WGEL. “We do have a featured quilter from Bond County, and this year it’s Oleta Schaufelberger of Greenville.

The Quilt Show will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost for admission is $3. For more information on the show or to pre-register a quilt entry, call Jan at 326-7343.
