County Board Makes Appointments

The Bond County Board made several appointments in their meeting this week.

Larry Bingham was approved to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board by a 3-to-1 vote.  Howard Elmore cast the “no” vote.  Board member Eldon Young was absent.

Larry Suess and Ben Kettlekamp were appointed to three-year terms on the Greenville Airport Authority.

Claude Peper and Matthew Roadman were appointed to three-year terms on the Greenville Fire Protection District. Kendall Brink was approved to a three-year term on the Pocahontas-Old Ripley Fire Protection District.

The board approved use of the courthouse lawn for the National Day of Prayer on May 1.
