Local country music artist Drew Baldridge of Patoka is putting on a special concert in the area this month to benefit the Murray Center. Baldridge told WGEL he will perform at Arizona Joe’s in Centralia on Saturday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m.
“When we get to go back, we want it to be something big and something beneficial to the community,” Baldridge told WGEL. “We just happened to team up with the Murray Center to do a benefit with them. Basically it’s going to be $15 a ticket and half of its going to go to Murray Center.
“I’m super excited. I always love coming back and playing for my hometown folk. There’s nothing like people out in the crowd knowing your music and singing along with you.”
Baldridge said the Murray Center will also be selling event t-shirts at the concert. Tickets are available for purchase at First National Bank in Patoka and at Arizona Joe’s.
