Greenville City Council Could Vote On Leaf Burning Tonight

The Greenville City Council is set to meet Tuesday night at 7:30PM at city hall.  The council will likely discuss and may take a vote to change the current leaf burning ordinance in the city.  The topic was tabled from the last meeting.

Another item on the agenda includes public meetings being scheduled on the topic of occupancy permits.  The council is considering requiring an inspection of a home or apartment prior to allowing that property to be occupied.  Three public meetings will be help where the public can share their views with the council.  The meetings are planned for Thursday April 17th at Noon and 4PM and again on Tuesday April 22nd at 6PM.
