Habitat For Humanity Annual Gospel Concert To Be Held April 27

The Habitat for Humanity Annual Gospel Concert fundraiser will be held Sunday, April 27 at the First Christian Church in Greenville. Eric Watterson, with the Bond County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, told us the event will feature several local performers.

“We have kids from the kindergarten here in town, we’ve got the junior high band and choir, we’re going have the jazz band from the high school and part of the choir from the high school, and some other musical groups from local churches will also come out and put on a nice concert,” Watterson told WGEL. “We talk about the mission of Habitat and we try to raise a little money and have a nice night.”

Watterson said admission to the concert is free and an offering will be taken up for Habitat for Humanity. More details will be released on as the date draws closer.
