March Rainfall Less Than Average

Average March rainfall in Greenville was 1.31 inches, almost two inches less than the ten year average of 3.38 inches.  We also had 23 hundredths of an inch of snow and two tenths of an inch of ice. The least March rain was just eight tenths of an inch in 1981 with the most rain falling in March 2008 when Greenville got 8.72 inches. Thirteen years show no March snow with 18.6 inches of snow in March 1978.
