The Greenville Board of Police Commissioners met in regular session Wednesday morning.  During their meeting, the board recognized Kim Langel, secretary for the board and administrative assistant at the Greenville Police Department, for her over 25 years of service.

“We’re going to recognize Kim for having been our secretary for over 25 years.” Bob Wiedenhoeft, a member of the board, told WGEL prior to the meeting. “We have a plaque we’re going to present to her. She’s been fantastic–she’s had to put up with three of us guys for the last over 25 years. She’s done a wonderful job for us and we just appreciate her.”

Langel resigned from her post with the Board of Police Commissioners in January.
