The Shoal Creek Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited sponsored an Illinois Hunter Safety Education course this month at the KVS Club near Tamalco. Class participants received a “WTU Kids on Target” package for participating and were provided lunch and beverages, courtesy of the chapter.
After taking the final exam, participants were rewarded with opportunities to shoot clay pigeons at the range. Certified Course instructors were Rick Hammond, Jack Langel, and Brett Haas, who is also a Shoal Creek Committee Member.
