Thunderstorms brought more rain to the area Monday.  There were tornado warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings in the Bond County area especially in the northern portion of the county.  Thankfully no damage has been reported to local police.  At the WGEL studio in downtown Greenville, our gauge showed about six tenths of an inch, Joe Doll measured seven tenths of an inch at his farm south of Pocahontas, a little north of Greenville the totals rose quickly with 1.25 inches reported in one area.  Officially here in Greenville, 84 hundredths of an inch were measured at the Sewer Plant, 98 hundredths at the station on Sixth Street, and 75 hundredths at Idler Lane and Rt. 140.
