The Bond County Board met briefly in regular session this week. They approved two county aid projects for culvert replacements — one for $6,200 and one for $2,400. Both were in the Old Ripley Area.
The board approved liquor licenses for the VFW Post #1377 and the Greenville Country Club and they accepted the resignation of Deputy Jim Leitschuh from the Bond County 9-1-1 Board. Sheriff Jeff Brown has recommended Deputy Steve Unterbrink for the position, as a law enforcement representative must occupy that spot on the board. Unterbrink was unanimously approved.
