GC To Hold 20th Annual Panther Pride Golf Scramble


The Greenville College Athletic Department will host their 20th annual Panther Pride Golf Scramble on Friday, June 13 at Indian Springs Golf Club, just west of Van Burensburg. B.J. Schneck, the director of athletic event management and sports information said proceeds from the event will support the athletic department.

“We have a number of sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses to get involved with this event, as well as opportunities for local people to be involved with playing in the event,” Schneck told WGEL. “Our registration fee is $125, which includes breakfast and lunch. We have awards that go to the top four placing teams and individuals in a variety of categories.

“It’s an event that we use to reunite our alumni and friends of the college and we look forward to this every year.”
