GHS Student Wins Visual Arts Grand Prize In Live Arts Contest

Greenville High School student Emily Petroline won first place in the 10th Grade Visual Arts category and Best in Show for Visual Arts out of all high school students in Greenville College’s Live Arts Contest. Petroline’s submission was a drawing titled “Dead City Radio” that will be featured in Greenville College’s VISTA magazine. The contest was open to high school and undergraduate students nationwide with submission categories in poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and visual arts.

Elizabeth Sugg, of Mulberry Grove High School, was also a category winner, earning first place in the 10th grade fiction category with her piece titled “The Man of Shadows”.
