Greenville firefighters responded Monday at 5:02 p.m. to a report of a fire in a loafing shed on a dairy farm on Rt. 127 at Rt. 143, south of Greenville. According to the fire report, the cause of the fire is unknown.
Damage is estimated at approximately $300 and was restricted to some wood and straw. Keyesport and Smithboro firefighters responded to provide mutual aid with tankers and manpower. No injuries were reported and firefighters were on the scene for about an hour and a half.
