St. Joseph’s Highland Hospital Auxiliary Launches Fundraiser

St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary recently launched a new fundraiser, commemorating the old hospital building. Randy Schorfheide, director of community relations at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, told us more.

“The St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary was able to acquire 1,000 bricks from the old St. Joseph’s Hospital facility, located at 1515 Main Street,” Schorfheide said. “So, what they’re doing is they’re selling commemorative bricks for $10 apiece. If individuals want to get a brick that has an engraved plaque on it, those are $15 apiece.

“So they have two choices – just a regular brick for $10 or a brick with a special engraved plaque on it for $15.”

The commemorative bricks are available for purchase and special order at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Gift Shop or online at All proceeds go to the hospital auxiliary.
