Wiedenhoeft Presented Turley Award

Greenville Chamber of Commerce President John Kennedy presents Cathie Wiedenhoeft with the Gerald Turley Memorial Award

Saturday night the Greenville Chamber of Commerce presented its annual Gerald Turley Memorial Award to long-time Greenville resident Cathie Wiedenhoeft.

The annual award recognizes outstanding examples of community service. Among other things Cathie chaired a dozen years of Dairy Days in downtown Greenville, was an officer in the Greenville Business and Professional Association and Women’s Club, a past president and long-time board member of the Chamber, and was instrumental in Greenville becoming part of the Main Street program.

The Turley Award is presented annually in memory of former Greenville Mayor and community leader Gerald Turley.
