Fatal Crash Claims Life Of Rural Greenville Man

Illinois State Police and the Bond County Coroner’s Office are investigating a fatal one-car accident involving a rural Greenville man. Joseph William Moss, age 35, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:08 a.m. Sunday by Bond County Coroner Anthony R. Brooks. The vehicle was traveling north on Illinois Route 127, in front of the Greenville Airport, when it left the eastside of the roadway, rolling several times before hitting a power pole. The vehicle came to rest on its top and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
