At the recent Fayette County Professional Art Show at the Artworks Gallery in Vandalia, seven professional artists entered twenty pieces. Professional artist John Gabb of Effingham judged the event. The Professional Award went to Martha Iler of Greenville with an acrylic painting titled “Roots.” Martha also won red and white ribbons for other entries.
