Greenville Police Department May Activity Report

The Greenville Police Department released their activity report for May. They received one report of battery, and investigated one burglary from a motor vehicle, one theft of items valued at more than $500.00, three thefts of items with less than $500.00 value, and one case of criminal damage to property. There was one offense involving juveniles and three for illegal drugs or alcohol consumption. There were 75 traffic violations including 23 seat belt offenses, 17 speeding tickets, and 14 driver’s license or license plate infractions. Officers made 17 criminal arrests and investigated 12 traffic accidents.  Firefighters from local fire districts responded to 66 fire calls.
