A Hillsboro woman is being held pending charges of allegedly filing a false police report after claiming she was pulled over by someone who was impersonating a police officer. Cops say 29-year-old Cheri Frisbie told them she was stopped last Tuesday by a black, unmarked car on Illinois 16 between Irving and Witt. She said the fake cop had a handgun and robbed her. Frisbie later confessed the incident never happened and said she had a panic attack and needed to be around someone.
