Marcoot Jersey Creamery To Hold Open House Saturday

Marcoot Jersey Creamery in Greenville will hold an open house this Saturday, June 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

“We’re going to have a lot of family-friendly events,” said Amy Marcoot. “We’ll have cheese samples.  This year we’re going to have a Passport Adventure Activities program for kids, where they can go to different booths and get stamps in their passports.  When they get their passports filled up they can come and get a scoop of ice cream.

“We’ll also have bratwurst and hotdogs for sale.  We’ll have ice cream floats.  We’ll have cheese curds for sale, also.  We’ll have cheese-making demonstrations.  They can come and see our baby calves in our calf barn. So, please bring your family out and visit Marcoot Jersey Creamery this Saturday.”

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Marcoot Jersey Creamery at 664-1110.
