In their meeting Monday night, the Mulberry Grove Unit 1 School Board unanimously ratified a one-year contract with the Mulberry Grove Education Association. The new contract includes pay for teachers who completed advanced education. Five teachers at the bottom of the salary schedule will get a longevity raise and the board agreed to flex-time for teachers allowing emergency time from the classroom without taking personal or sick days. The approved contract will cost the district approximately $24,000.00.
