Pana School To Close Due To Lack Of Funding

The lack of state funding has dealt a devastating blow to a Pana school. District officials have been forced to shut down the high-performing Jefferson Middle School. The move to close the school will save the school district close to 350 thousand dollars. The teaching staff at Jefferson will still have jobs next fall, but four support staff positions were eliminated.
