Two Motorcycles Collide Sending Four To Hospital

Two motorcycles collided Sunday, June 1, at 5:27 p.m., in southern Clinton County. According to information from the Illinois State Police in District 11, two motorcycles were apparently traveling together on St. Rose Road, just south of Surge Road, when the trailing motorcycle hit the rear of the leading motorcycle causing both drivers and two passengers to be ejected. Highland EMS took two people to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland and Breese EMS took two people to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. All four were later ARCHed to St. Louis University Hospital. Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies and St. Rose Firefighters were also on the scene. Names have not yet been released.
