The Bond County Fair is coming up Thursday, July 31 through Tuesday, August 5.
Another pageant has been added to the fair festivities. This will mark the first year for the Junior Miss Bond County Pageant.
The Junior Miss Pageant will be similar to the Miss Bond County Pageant, consisting of an interview prior to the pageant and a public question during the event. 11 girls, ages 12 to 14, will compete for the title of Junior Miss Bond County on Monday, August 4.
Coming up over the next several days, WGEL will introduce you to each of the Junior Miss contestants in our Bond County Area News. During the week leading up to the fair, we’ll feature each of the six Miss Bond County Fair contestants.
