After two years off, July 4th fireworks returned to Patriot’s Park in Greenville, thanks to the efforts of many area volunteers. An estimated 3,000 people attended the Bond County Independence Day Festival Association’s first annual Fourth Fest Friday night. Fireworks and music filled the air and the crowd was treated to family activities, great food, and music by the Greenville Municipal Band and the Christian Connor Band.
