22 year-old Ramsey Z. Fakhouri, of Troy, Michigan, was sentenced Friday in federal district court to 78 months in federal prison for his involvement in the Valentine’s Day ATM robbery at the Bradford National Bank in Highland. Fakhouri’s girlfriend was employed at Bradford National Bank and, according to court documents, unwittingly gave Fakhouri information regarding ATM protocols at the bank.
February 14, Fakhouri’s co-defendant, 18 year-old Alexander P. Gerth, also of Troy, Michigan, allegedly approached a bank teller who was filling the ATM and took $25,780.00 while armed with an Airsoft gun that appeared to be a traditional firearm. Fakhouri drove the getaway vehicle..
