Man Loses License After Alleged Hit-and-Run Death

State officials suspended the driver’s license of the man accused of allegedly hitting a woman in a fatal hit-and-run last month. The Secretary of State’s office says 25 year-old Jonathon Nast is a danger to road safety.

Nast allegedly ran over Lana Albert last month in Breese. Police say instead of turning himself in, Nast allegedly tried to sell his truck to a scrap yard to get rid of the evidence.

Nast is free on bond as he waits for his preliminary hearing date August 2.
