During the recent Mulberry Grove Unit 1 School Board meeting, Brad Turner, former assistant principal at Greenville High School, was hired as the new Unit 1 Superintendent.
“Certainly we were very fortunate to add Brad to our high school administration team four years ago,” Bond County Unit 2 Superintendent Jeff Strieker told WGEL. “He has been a wonderful addition to our faculty and staff and certainly a blessing to our district. We are definitely going to miss him. However, I know Brad has been working very hard on his Administrative Superintendent Certification and I have worked with him on a number of those projects. I and all of us at Bond County Unit 2 are happy for Brad, Stacy, and the kids.”
Strieker said he is looking forward to working with Turner on area education issues.
