At the Mulberry Grove Village Board meeting Monday, Liz Corravo, representing Elevate Energy with offices in Litchfield, addressed the board concerning energy issues. She said Ameren IP is replacing electric meters and transmission lines to improve service and reduce interruptions. Funds are available through “Act on Energy” to help residents with energy upgrades and retrofits. Home energy audits are also available.
Mayor Mike Henrichsmeyer said he had been in touch with Katie Mosley who is opening the day care center just across the road from the school. They discussed possible sewer hook-ups and said she is considering applying to be annexed into the village.
