New Vehicle In Use At Bond County Health Department

The Bond County Health Department provided free blood pressure tests at the Fourth Fest at Patriots Park Friday night. The department also used the occasion to unveil their newest vehicle.

“We took possession of it back in the fall of last year and have been transforming it from what it was, the desert color and the military insignia, to make it a public health emergency vehicle for the health department,” said Public Health Administrator Mark Ayers at the Bond County Health Department. “It will pull our bioterrorism trailer. We needed a vehicle and Sheriff Brown had those three sitting on his lot.  It was no charge to the taxpayers and we have put it to good use.”
