VFW Post 1377 in Greenville hosted an American Red Cross blood drive Thursday. Seventy-one people registered with 61 units of whole blood and 6 units of red blood cells collected, exceeding the goal of 45 units set by the Red Cross. Dennis Warren, Rick Hilliard, and Jim Cruthis each donated two units of red blood cells. JoAnn Reymond earned a nine-gallon pin, Joe Leidner an eight-gallon pin and Brandon Braye a one-gallon pin.
