4H Auction Raises Over $92,000

The annual 4H Auction, sponsored by Ag in the Classroom, was held Monday night at the Bond County Fair. Final numbers have been tallied and it was another great year.

“We had a really successful auction,” Emily Hartmann, with the Ag in the Classroom, told WGEL. “We had 84 different 4H members sell their livestock during the auction and had a great evening. We actually grossed $92,403. We thought it was a really successful event. We had several new buyers at the auction this year that haven’t bought with us in the past and we’re glad to welcome them into Bond County to participate in the 4H auction.”

Hartmann noted that several records were set during the event. Congratulations to all 4H members and organizers for another great auction!
