The Bond County Fair kicked off Thursday. The grandstand event that night was the annual talent competition.
11-year old Ravyn Gauch, of Mulberry Grove, won first prize in the Junior Division. Second place went to 14-year old Reauna Stiff, of Mulberry Grove. 12-year old Gabe Baxter, of Greenville, took third place.
In the Senior Division the winner was Allan Schellenger, age 19, of Greenville.
Winners of the county talent competitions advance to the state level. However, Ravyn Gauch has competed at state previously and competitors are only allowed to represent their county as a single act one time. So, Reauna Stiff will represent Bond County for the junior division in Springfield along with the Allan Schellenger for the senior division.
