Clinton County Relay Raises Over $290,000

The 14th annual Clinton County Relay for Life was held Friday night and Saturday morning at Central High School in Breese.

The event generated $294,743.35 for the American Cancer Society. The grand total raised by Clinton County over 14 years now stands at over $3.1 million.

The largest amount raised by a single team was $162,280, raised by the team “Plow for a Cure”.

29 teams were involved in the event and 180 cancer survivors from Clinton County were recognized during the Opening Ceremony and Survivor lap. The 180 individuals celebrated a combined 1,673 years of survivorship.
