Construction continues on the Frank & Susan Watson Community Building, a new addition to the Bond County Senior Center on Harris Avenue in Greenville.
“The construction is going really well,” Senior Center Director Anna Oestreich told WGEL recently. “In fact, we’re joining the wing with the main part of the building. A big part of this building – almost a third of it – is pantry space. So we’ll be bringing the food pantry back on site. It will be a nice, clean, convenient walk-through facility for the community. We are just delighted that we’re moving ahead of schedule on this project.”
The Frank & Susan Watson Community Building at the Bond County Senior Center is expected to be completed by the fall.
